Canada’s First National Association for Influencers and Content Creators Officially Launches

The Canadian Influencers and Content Creators Association aims to strengthen the creator space through advocacy, standards, and community support.

Toronto, ON – December 2nd, 2025 – The Canadian Influencers & Content Creators Association (CICCA) today announces its official launch, marking a major milestone for Canada’s rapidly growing creator economy. CICCA is the first and only national association dedicated to advocating for and professionalizing the work of Canadian influencers and digital content creators.

CICCA was founded to address a clear gap in Canada’s digital landscape. Creators are building influential careers, but often without access to standardized resources, best practices, or industry support. The association aims to fill that gap by offering guidance, skills, and programming that will help creators navigate brand partnerships, contracts, content rights, and the day-to-day realities of operating a creative business.

“Creators are at the heart of modern storytelling, culture, and marketing, but many are still navigating this industry without a roadmap,” says Genevieve Beaudry, Founder and Chair of CICCA. “Today is an exciting day for Canadian creators. At CICCA, we’re here to give influencers the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to grow their careers and help shape a stronger, more professional future of Canada’s digital space.”

A New Era of Support for Canadian Talents

CICCA delivers a suite of benefits designed to help creators operate more professionally and confidently including:

  • Exclusive group insurance tailored to influencers and content creators (including telehealth)
  • Curated job board with paid partnership opportunities
  • Exclusive discounts and deals on products and professional services
  • Support, resources, tools and templates
  • A private networking influencer community
  • Member-only VIP industry events
  • Advocacy efforts focused on raising industry standards and strengthening creator protections

With the global creator economy estimated to surpass $500 billion in the next decade, CICCA believes Canada must take an active role in shaping the future of creator work, ensuring both influencers and content creators have the tools, protections and professional standards to succeed. Additional initiatives – including workshops, webinars and standardized best-practice guidelines – will roll out throughout 2025.

With its launch, CICCA invites creators, agencies, brands, and industry partners across Canada to get involved, collaborate, and help shape the future of the country’s creator community.
